Rachel Olympics at Airbound

Today was rachel first performance for gym. She has been at Airbound all school year as a level one. She just passed off all her requirements to move to level two. She has enjoyed gymnastics and is really good at it. She is confident in everything she does. Right before gym she played a soccer game and scored 8 goals. She is a powerhouse!!! She performed so well and memorized her floor routine. We love you rachel! Way to go! She came home with three blue ribbons and a red for all four events. Good job sis! 

Award Ceremony at USU

I received an award from USU today for student teaching supervisor of the year. I feel so special! I have worked hard to mentor and coach these students and it has been a joy! I’m glad my hard work paid off and I could inspire some of them. Adam attended the ceremony with me and recorded the words that were written to nominate me. I try not to boast about myself but this is worth documenting. It’s an accomplishment in my life and I’m proud. I hope my children know being a Mom is my number one priority! However, the Lord has blessed with with this supervising job to use my gift of teaching and help with our bills without leaving them very often. Most of this job can be done at home. I am grateful! 

My colleague and friend K.Lea Priestley. She has been a huge help to me this semester and a dear friend. I will miss her greatly as she is headed back to the classroom in Arizona.

I went to Kristi Stephenson’s bridal shower. We grew up in the same neighborhood. She is just getting married and I’m so happy for her.

Right before Carter fell off the playhouse and broke his elbow. Right when mom said ok now don’t climb up on top just drop inside. I turned to help Vivian on the slide and bam! He fell off and broke his elbow. 

Vivie loves the slide and can do it on her own. 

Crazy baby hair! Oh my word her hair is crazy in the mornings. Curly sue! 

Rachel got smacked in the face by the neighbors wooden swing. Cut her lip pretty bad. Poor girl had a big fat lip and bruise for a week. No stitches, luckily. 

Rachel is so creative! She loves to make things. Just look at those minnions. So adorable!!!

Look how long she is in her crib! She has learned how to climb out of her crib. It’s tough. Some nights she climbs in and out and other nights she stays in and goes right to bed. We won’t take it down yet, she is still our baby!

We visited the Jordan River Temple open house with my family. It was busy on a Saturday but they hustled ya through and we made it in an hour. The kids did pretty well, they tried hard.  I know it’s a random post but I like to document  the little things. Our family is growing fast! 

Again!

Poor Carter fell off the playhouse again. Dumb kid didn’t learn the first time, last year. I laid him on my bed and watched him all morning 9:30-11:30am mid teaching preschool, good thing I have Mrs. Teena. By 11:30 it was swollen he was still crying about it and wouldn’t use it at all. I knew it was broken. Adam took him in and sure enough, his right elbow. Last year it was his left elbow. After last time he grew an extra piece on his elbow, I’m worried about that this time. We see the doctor tomorrow at 3:30 to see what he says. They can’t cast it cause of the swelling for now. He is still crying about it, I feel so bad. 

Ronola Egg Hunt

As always the Uncle Wayne’s treehouse is bigger and better. The kids were freaking out about it! Good old Hooper, Utah. We had a great BBQ with the Barker Family and egg hunt. I didn’t get many pics because it was busy! I love my grandparents so much my heart could burst. They have raised a herd of good people!
