I'm working at Six Star Party Store this summer until I start teaching in the end of August. It is going well and I enjoy being back at that fun little store. Scott and Kristi, the owners, were so great to take me back just for the summer and have been really flexible with my scheduale.
Adam and I are getting ready to tend kids for the next two weeks. We start this Saturday and tend until the 12th of June. We are thrilled! I have those two weeks off work except for one Saturday. It is awesome that I have such a flexible summer job. :)
We celebrated my graduation a while ago, as you know, I will be posting some pictures of the gifts Mom and Dad got me soon. Also my Aunt Jan and Uncle Steve gave me a dang cute card, as did my Aunt Annette, and my Grandparents. So thank you to all of you who have helped us celebrate and given your support.
We had a great Memorial Day. I woke up in the morning at 9am, which was nice, and I was starving! I told Adam I wanted to go to Logan Burger for breakfast because I wanted a huge juicy hamburger. I know, sick, but that is what I felt like. I think I was so hungry because I didn't eat dinner the night before. Anyway, we went to Logan Burger but sadly they were closed at 9:30am so we went to Arby's and I got a yummy chicken cord on blu sanwhich with a vanilla shake. I ate them both all by myself and they were GOOD! We went on a ride up the canyon with our windows down. When we got up there we went on a little walk together, it was nice to enjoy eachothers company. Then we went swimming with the Stokes at the Logan Pool. It was so fun! MaKenna loved the pool and kept jumping in over and over again! Bailey came too and she liked being outside and sticking her feet in the water.
This weekend we went to Austins farewell at the Davis home. We had delicious food, as always. and visited with family too. It was nice to go down and we are proud of Austin for serving the Lord. (so sorry no pictures)
I just had to make note of this event. Adam went to Red Box on his own to rent a movie Monday night on his way home from picking up flags with the scouts. He got a movie for him, Mall Cop, and he surprised me with a girly movie for me, Bride Wars. Awww! How thoughtful he was. I thought it was really sweet of him.

Our instant family!
This weekend we tended Chloe, Lily, Brigham, and Cannon. They are all so darling! We spent lots of time playing at parks, going to Willow Park Zoo, building sand castles, and running around outside. It is so fun to have warm weather for the kids! Here are some fun pictures of us at the zoo Saturday morning. The kids had a blast! Brigham was a little scared of the huge tortise and the peacocks scared the kids because they were out walking around and making loud noises. But they loved the turtles, monkeys, and the deer. Adam and I had tons of fun too! We were just talking about how fun it was to just take the whole weekend to play. It's been a while since we have spent our Saturday at a zoo and going down slippery slides. Now, don't get me wrong, 4 kids is a lot of work but it was better than cleaning my house, running errands, or having Adam work at the bank. What a weekend!

WE LOVE KIDS!!!!!
We love kids sooooooo much! We get to watch the beautiful Allen children this weekend. Yeah! Then on May 30 -June 3 we are watching them again. Fun! Also today I got a phone call from a wonderful lady who heard about us. I know her from my parents ward, they moved out of their ward a couple years ago but that is how I know her sweet family. Her nanny is on bed rest and so she can't tend her kids while they go to Italy so Adam and I will be playing Mom and Dad again on June 4th- June 12th! Wahoo! She has four kids the oldest is 9 and the youngest is 1. This has truely been an answer to our prayers! This will really help with Adam's tuition. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who is watching over us and wonderful people like the Reeders and the Allens who are willing to let us watch their kids. WE ARE SO BLESSED!

An answer to my prayers...
I was feeling lonely and my cute house was a bit too quiet with Adam being away to Moab. I was catching up on facebook and caught my good good friend Kelby online. He just got off the mission and I missed him so. My roommate Jenni and I used to always hang out with him, Eric, and Kolby. We have some great memories together! I was able to call him and we talked for about an hour. Immediately my fear of being in an empty house alone was gone and I felt happy and loved. I know it's a bit odd but it was totally an answer to my prayers. Thank Kelby! You have always been so great and still are!!!!! Welcome back!!!!

Mothers Day was nice!
For mothers day we celebrated with Trudy on Saturday by going to the Blue Sox game and eating lion pups, which are homemade corn dogs. Yum! It was nice to be with family. After the game we went to Mom and Dads and gave Mom presents. We gave Mom new dish towels, wash clothes, and cleaning rags and she loved them. On Sunday after church we went to Sue's and had a BBQ. It was yummy and the weather was really nice. We gave Sue a tomato plant in a cute pot, a church cd, and a card. She loved the tomato she said she will use it. We are glad. After that we headed to Roy to visit Grandma. She is such a cute Grandma and we love her! We love all of our Mothers!

Elementary Education commencement!

These are some more pictures of me at graduation on May 2nd 2009. These were taken during and after the big walk. Adam was so sweet cause he brought me flowers up on the stage after I walked. I went back to my seat with these pretty flowers and the other girls were saying how thoughtful my husband was. I, of course, agreed. :) I like the picture of me and my Dad too! I still have plenty of pictures to post but I don't have them from Kaitlan yet!

I HAVE A JOB!
I will forever remember this day as the day that I accepted my first job! Yeah! I will be teaching at Garland Elementary in 5th grade next year. I could not be happier! Box Elder district was my first choice, as was 5th grade, and Garland was my first choice of school too. The people there are so nice and helpful. The principal is awesome! I am thrilled! I interviewed with 3 mile creek in Perry as well today and they wanted me to teach for them too. So Kristi, the principal at Garland, called me and said I could choose which school I wanted to teach at 3 Mile Creek, Garland, or Snowville and I immediately chose Garland! I am happy to say I will be a teacher next year! Woot woot!
On a odd note, my mother cousin Kurt Bennington is the janitor there. What a small world!

I got a job offer at the cutest school!
I interviewed yesterday at Snowville Elementary in Box Elder School District and loved that little school. They teach combined grades and only have four teachers. There are 33 students in the whole school. It is so small and cute and has a family feel to it. After I interviewed they called me one hour later and offered me to position. I was thrilled and flattered about the offer but knew I needed to think on it. It's too bad that I didn't want to say yes right away, I keep dreaming about getting a job offer and snatching it up right then. Snowville is far, 50 minutes from Logan, so if I took this job we would move to Brigham City or Tremonton. Anyway, I have two more interviews today in Box Elder district. One is at 2pm and the other is at 3pm. Both of these schools are closer to Logan one is in Perry and one in Garland, which is a 20 minutes drive from Logan. I am hoping I do really well and get an offer there so we don't have to move. If not though I know that Snowville is where I am supposed to be. I really think that I would enjoy a class with 12 students and that the opportunity for growth there would be huge. Plus I think that kids would excel with a new teacher like myself who has fresh ideas. Also teaching in Snowville is better than not teaching at all next year which is starting to be a reality for many graduates here in the valley because Cache and Logan have both filled all their positions.
I'm excited to say that this means that by the end of the week I will have a job for next year!! I will keep posting about any new offers.
Also we are picking Lisa up from the airport today! I am glad my sister is coming home! Yeah!

I just got news...
The principal from Thomas Edison called me late last night and told me that it is a no. They thought they would have two more positions available but it turns out they only had one. Oh well, I did my best and that is all that i can do. I have an interview tomorrow with a school in Box Elder. Maybe this will be a better fit anyway. :)

USU Graduation, the morning stuff!
This is just a post about the morning events and excitments! The rest I will post about later. Sara and I walked across campus together, in the rain, and it was fun! Our husbands waited on the side lines and took pictures. My family was also there but sadly I didn't see them. :( I was so glad that they all made it to my graduation it really means a lot to me. After the walk we went to the spectrum and had speakers one of them was Bob Bennett. Cool huh? After the speakers Adam, Sara, my Adam, and me all headed to Mom and Dads house for a "fancy" lunch. It was on china and we had shrimp! Wooo hoo! Dad was thoughtful and gave me chicken poppers instead because he knows I don't like shrimp. He is a good Dad. Anyway, It was a good morning. Later I went back for my actual college and got my diploma. I will post pictures of me recieveing my diploma when I get them.
