Hard Work Pays Off

Ever since the very tragic incident (about three months ago) of leaving her bike out behind Daddy’s big truck...🙈😭 Rach has been working and saving. She has been kicking butt! She earned $25 all on her own, a feat at age 5. The deal was she paid half and we would cover the other half. Today was the big day!!!! She picked this one out, 20” wheels. She has plenty of room to grow. Plus, it has a kickstand!!! Which she is thrilled about! She keeps saying, “ Mom, if I could choose a day to get a bike, it’d be this one!” What a sweetie! She has earned this!!!

Reading Time

Honestly reading to my kids is probably one of my favorite things to do. Since carter is number three he doesn’t get read to near as often as Rachel and Dayton did. So, I am trying hard to be better. Plus he loves it!

We Are Headed Home

We were up early 6:30 for Mama and 7pm for everyone else. Our shuttle was ther for us at 8am and we were at the airport by 8:30am. I could have gone with another hours sleep, we all could have. But the shuttle company has to cover their tails so we aren’t late. I get it. Still, we were through secrueity and bag checked by 8:45am and our plan goes at 10:40am. Boy oh boy. So in this case electronics saved our kids from boredom. We are not big electronic people but ya, in this case, helpful! 

Bye bye room, bye bye pool, bye bye California. Home to Vivian.
