Long pretty hair, don't care!

Rachel's hair is so long and so pretty. It makes my mama heart happy. She keeps saying she wants a haircut so I don't know how much longer she will have this so I wanted to take a picture! 

Vivie's second or third bath

Vivie had a bath at home! I am slow posting about it. It was when she was 1 week old. She fits perfect in the sink. Awe!

Halloween

Yesterday was the fall festival at the school. It is actually pretty fun! The PTA sets up a game in each classroom down the two main halls and the kids have a punch pass they take around to play games and fill up. They all came home with a very full bag of prizes most of them are toys. Thank heavens!

Here they are all dressed up. I'm bummed Vivie wasn't in this picture but she was nursing before so she'd be happy. These kids had a great time! 

Rach also had her Halloween party for speech today. This is her with Mrs. Price, who has helped her immensely with her soeech and whom we love!!

My dad

My dad sent this picture today of him with all the professors he works with at Utah State. Dad is a microbiologist and a virologist, pretty much a genius. I have always looked up to him and always thought highly of how smart he is. I will tell you right now, I am not smart in the same way he is. It's amazing what he knows. I thought posting this would be a fun picture to look back on in years to come. Plus, he looks happy here which is a welcome sight since he struggles with depression and anxiety over being bishop of a YSA and life in general. I love my dad even with all his imperfections. I hope my kids can say the same about me when they are almost 30 years old and have families of their own. 

Carter broke his elbow

Today Carter climbed up on the fisher price playhouse outside and fell. It was in the cement cause Adam just mowed the lawn and sure enough, crack and big crying. We took him to ER, daddy did, and he has a subtle fracture. I'm not sure what that means, why don't they just say small? We have to go to another doc tomorrow or Tuesday to see what he says about casting it. They gave us baby loratab and I don't dare give it to him. I'm just giving him ibuphrophen and Tylenol. He says it hurts and my heart is breaking.  Adam said every time doctors came Ina be out of his room at hospital ER he asked, "I all done? We go home now?" He is such a sweet boy yet such a climber.

Fall festival at American West Heritage Center

Today was a happy day. First we hit the north Logan pumpkin walk with the grandparents. Then McDonald's for lunch which is always a treat for our kids. And last the farm for fun!

Mama's photo shoot with Vivie

These are far from professional photos but I had fun with my baby girl getting a few gems for her baby book. They will add nicely to filling her little newborn photo book along with those taken by my photographer friend, Katie. Vivian is 3 weeks old in these and 2 weeks old in the ones Katie took that I am sure I will post a few of later when I get them back. 

This little girly is SWEET!

The kids filled their listening jars, again!

We have been filling up mason jars with puff balls every time the kids listen the first time. It's been a great thing for them and us. They all filled their jar again. D and Rach chose Olive Garden with dad and I took Carter for Icecream with Vivie. It was a good night. 

Great Grandparents and Vivian

Today we had the great privilege of visiting these two cute Grandparents. Seriously, one of the BEST examples in my life. I love them dearly. Grandpa is 90 in January and Nola is 90 in May. WOW! They got to hold Vivie for the first time and see her. The both loved it! Also, Vivian pooped, a big one right in Grandpas hand. Unforgettable.
