Our Day of Love!

So I have had a couple of people ask to see some of my wedding picture so here are a few! I also put some down the side of our blog so for those of you who don't really keep up on my daily blogging habits they will still be there in a week. Or I guess you can just click on the link!

New Day Family Tradition! If you need a laugh, WATCH THIS!

So just as promised here are two videos of Jared's tryouts for Mr. Sky View last Wednesday. It was enjoyable to go and cheer him on. Sorry these are a little late but for some reason I couldn't get blogger to upload videos. Anyway enjoy! Oh and just as a reminder out of the 20 or so boys trying out Jared got fourth and at the Homecoming dance he got to dance with one of the Homecoming royalty girls. So now the tradition in the Day family has been established that all the children must be in some sort of royalty. Lisa my older sister was Homecoming Queen, I was voted to be the first princess from my school class (yeah!) and now Jared was fourth attendant for Homecoming! So no pressure Joseph and Nate!

His Talent! Just for the record I would totally want a date with Jared if I was a high school girl after this amazing performance. Go Buba! Oh and although he looks naked he is not, at least I am pretty sure he isn't!

The opening dance to Macho Macho Man with all the contestants. And yes he did perform this in public even worse in front of the entire student body and then some!

MaKenna's First Pigtails!

Adam and I got to watch Makenna this weekend. We love her so much! On Saturday morning after our yummy pancake breakfast Makenna and I made a trip to get little hair elastics and try to do something with her hair that just won't grow on top. Guess what? Pigtails worked!

We have so much fun together! Thank you as always Steve and Christa for trusting us with your pride and joy!
Just to justify my crazy blog background addiction I have to admit that I am trying to use all the background on thecutestblogontheblock.com in my lifetime and that is why my backgrounds changes so frequently. Plus I know it makes it more fun for all of you before actually clicking on our blog, I'm sure it gets you excited about what it's going to look like this time. Right? Anyway I wanted to say that this background is going to stay for a while! My goal is to keep this one until Halloween so it's your job to give me a hard time if it continues to change every week. Got it?

Mr. Sky View! Way To Go JARED!!!

So my brother Jared who is the one right under me in age tried out for Mr. Sky View this wednesday. He put on quiet the show and had the whole auditorium laughing. He ended up getting 4th attendant for homecoming and the boy my Paws who is in a wheelchair got Mr. Sky View which was neat. Jared said he had a blast trying out and was just shooting for the top 8 so he was happy with 4th. For all of you who don't know which one is Jared he is the tallest boy there in the bow tie! Yes, he is a stud! I took many videos of his try outs and I will post them later. For some reason my videos won't upload today!

Weekend Get Away!

TIMP CAVE Sept. 20th 2007

This past weekend we went on a little trip to American Fork. It was nice to get away and just play. We went down Friday with the intent to camp up the canyon but everything was full so we ended up in a Motel which was fine too.

Adam and I hiked to Timp Cave Early Saturday morning. It was raining so we asked the ticket lady if she had garbage bags we could use as rain coats and she kindly gave us two. This is us with a pretty view behind us on the way up to the cave. This is a cool little tunnel that I remember hiking under when I was about 9 years old.
At the top! Yeah! We made it in the rain and hail. Yes it did start hailing on us! Thank you ticket lady for the garbage bags!
This is us inside the cave and sorry it is a dark picture. It was amazing inside and I was impressed with our wonderful tour guide. She did an amazing job. The cave had so many cool formations and skinny passages that made it fun!

A quick movie of the inside! It is not really good but you get the idea!

After the cave we went to dinosaur museum in American Fork. Adam loved it! I liked it too but I have to admit I was grateful for the kid games like playing in the sand and water with the plastic dinosaurs, digging in the sand for fossils, putting dino pieces to it's matching cut out, drawing pictures, building a dino with velcro pieces, and dino puppets. We spent a lovely 3 hours in the museum and Adam read every word of every sign, not exagerating. That is why I was glad there was kids stuff to play with, much more my level. Anyway I guess we got our money's worth.

This was my favorite game the puzzel pieces. There was a whole wall of them and I played it over and over with many 2 and 3 year olds. This is my beautiful texture drawing. Look close and see if you can tell what it is.

We also got to visit my grandpa's grave in American Fork and we drove by a couple of my great uncles houses as well. It was fun to throw in a bit of geneology while we were down there.

My new hair cut!

I was sick of my hair so I chopped 6 inches off! It's A line so it's shorter in the back but I like it!

And the Good News is...

Adam is in the process of applying for a REAL job! It's not like Zions Bank is a fake job but soon he will be graduated and working at an accounting firm which is weird to think about! He turns in two applications tomorrow and he is going to a golf tournament with some firms this Friday to hopefully make some more contacts. Just this past weekend we went to the driving range so Adam could practive and after seeing Adam try to golf we had to have a talk. I said, "Honey if your golfing is going to hinder you or make you less qualified for getting a job, maybe you shouldn't go to the tournament." Not kidding you, he is that un-experienced in golfing. But hey who am I to talk I don't like it either I just like to drive the golf cart and attempt a tan. So we will keep you updated on the "real" job thing. Until then wish us luck!
Oh and I apologize for the lack of pictures on my last few posting, it is so not like me! I hate to just read a post with just words in fact I even hate to read a book with just words, maybe that is why I am going into elementary education. I promise my next post will include pictures since Adam and I are going to go down to Timp Cave this weekend.

The Truth!

Refer to post from Sept. 1oth. So the truth is #2 on Angie's was a myth and #1 on Adam's was a myth. I do not like fishing in fact I really dislike it, I would say it is close to a hate and I don't like fish or seafood. Adam has been swimming with dolphins. We went on our honeymoon to Mexico last December. It was fun to read and hear what you all had to say about our true/false post. And yes many of you have asked me if my hair color really is natural and it's true it is! I have never dyed it because once I thought about it and my hair lady said "Don't do it! Girls pay big money for pretty hair with so many natural looking colors in it." So I guess I'm lucky!

Fall is Here! Goodbye Summer!!

Although I do love summer fall is by far my favorite season! I love the sweater weather, the bright colored leaves, the perfect temperatures, seeing farmers harvesting their vegetables, carving pumpkins, and jumping in piles of leaves. Really it is simply the best!

Our Apartment!

This is our sort of new apartment. We have lived here for a month and a half and like the space. I know this video probably isn't that thrilling but for all of you who have yet to come visit us it'll have to do. Oh, don't forget to comment on our true or false posting by tomorrow, sunday! Let's see how well you know us!

True or False!?!?

It's your turn to play a little guessing game about us! I played this with my class as a getting to know you game and absolutley loved it. Two out of the three statements are true and one is false your job is to find the myth. Ready go!

1. Angie has never colored her hair. Ever!
2. Angie loves fishing and her favorite kind to eat is orange roughy.
3. Angie has been in the Washington D.C. temple and done baptisms.

1. Adam has not been swimming with dolphins.
2. When Adam grows facial hair it comes in red.
3. Adam has entered a golfing tournament for next weekend.

Please feel free to comment on this posting, see if you can guess what the myth is. Then if you would like to play along and write 3 facts about you we would love to guess your myth. We will be posting the truth this Sunday 9/14/08! Have fun!

Stokes Nature Walk

This saturday was our ward opening social. It was quite the event too! Banana Splits, a dunkings pool, water volleyball, and bingo. We are enjoying our ward and getting to know more people which is always good. After our ward social Adam and I went up the canyon to the Stokes Nature Trail and walked on it. I have to admit it was beautiful! So for all you Loganites who have not been you better try it out. It is an easy walk that your kids would even be able to enjoy. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!
Please take note of Adam's facial hair! Please don't mind this picture I was being a goof and Adam took a picture! Feel free to laugh.

Utah State!

We are both back in school and crazy as can be! Adam and I are both taking 16 credits this semester and working. Adam is also loving being the young mens president and enjoys the boys. Although his scout master, Steve Stokes, has staff infection and is laid up in bed for 6 weeks he is still surviving. As for me I still teach primary and my class keeps getting smaller and smaller. We are bummed that it is now getting chilly up here in Logan. We are hoping the weather will wait a couple months before it snows and sticks unlike previous years. I know that sounds crazy to many of you, snow in September, but I remember making a snow pumpkin on Halloween with my family and spraying it orange with food coloring so it is possible. So cross your fingers we can have a fall this year, after all it is my favorite season! We hope this finds you all well!
