Trick or treating!

I went with the kids down one side of our block. Adam took them the rest of the time so I could stay home and hand out candy. Lucky him! Happy Halloweeen all!

Alice And Wonderland

Today Rachel chose this movie. Dayton said, "Aw man! Not that rabbit one. It's SO weird!" Yes buddy it is!
Someone was smoking something. When they made it.

Joys of Gymboree!

So I have picked up a new hobby. Shopping Gymboree for cheap! I love their clothes, they seem to hold up better, wash well, stain less, keep their color better overall. So, I found a site, well a bunch of sites, on FB where I can sell my used Gymboree clothes for what I buy them for. Especially if I get them at DI. The site has mothers all over the USA who love Gymboree and their "lines" and shop it like mad! So my plan is to buy all Gymboree for Rachel now. When she grows out of it, sell it for what I paid for it, and buy more. Girls clothes sell so easily! And I always shop clearance and use a coupon, which means cheap!!!!
Today I visited DI and spent 1 1/2 hours looking through every rack. I bought $100 worth of Gymboree clothes. The ones I am keeping are below, Rachel's current size. The other I listed for sale tonight and have already sold some. Wow!

The items in the pictures below cost me just $36.
Yeah, sweet!

She will wear them and I'll sell them for what I paid plus $1 or $2 and the buyer pays shipping. It's brilliant really! Who wants boxes and boxes of baby/toddler clothes to store anyway. If you ask me, it's kind of a silly "tradition." Saving all the baby clothes that is.
The boys stuff is not going to be Gymboree though. Resale isn't as easy and D is way harder on his pants etc.
I love having a girl!

Friends and Super Saturday

I am happy here! I love Mendon and the first ward!
I spent yesterday with a bunch of ladies going to Gardener Village witch festival. Fun! I didn't really but anything but I visited and got away. Adam was awesome and stayed home with kid. Then today I went to super Saturday. I made 3 crafts in 3 hour plus lunch. It was awesome! I feel like a new woman! And isn't what I made adorable?

Dayton's first field trip!

Today he went to the pumpkin walk with his preschool class. He was so excited to go! They also got to paint pumpkins, frost cookies, and sort leaves. His teacher is fun! Dayton likes going to school except when he has to color a lot. He is friendly and always tells me about his friends. I'm excited to see how he excels in kindergarten next year. He is already reading! He is super bright! I'm glad he is ours!

Peek-a-Boo

Carter loves to play peek-a-boo now. He will do it with a blanket or his hands. It's adorable!

"Where's Mommy?"

"Peek-a-Boo!"

Giggle, giggle, giggle!

Goodbye Taya

I forgot to post that about a month ago we decided to give Taya up for adoption. WE LOVE HER and have had her almost her whole life (about 5 years) but we just can't keep her. Her breed has a strong hunter instinct and she will get out and eat neighbors chickens, cats, birds, the wild turkey's out here and such. With no fence and since I am allergic and can't keep her inside this would require her to be in a 20x12 kennel all day. It was just breaking our hearts. So we posted her on ksl.com for free. My phone literally RANG OFF THE HOOK for the whole day. I finally stopped answering and pulled the ad down. We met 3 families and by some miracle found the perfect fit. Her name is Terra and she is the poster child for Malamutes on Dog 101 TV show. You can look her up at Sasha and Luna, Dogs 101. She is amazing! She posts often about Taya so we can keep in touch. She has no kids so her dogs are her babies. She really pampers them. I think this is a much better home for Taya. She has her inside and is GREAT at training her and getting her out hiking and such. Dayton balled when we told him the news, before she was taken away. Adam did cry when Terra drove away with her. So far Taya is loving her new home. Miss you Girl!

And Ottis our puppy for good measure!
