I could get used to this!

We are home!

We are home and tired. We got home about 1am this morning. Then of course I was up with Vivian for about 1.5 hours before I could sleep. However, then she slept til 8am. Almost 6 hours, score! Sue is here today to help me. Adam is going to work a bit late but going. We got Dayton and Rachel off to school and everyone dressed. I showered and fed Vivie and now Carter and I are laying in my bed watching a show. I hope I can get a nap.

One of the little joys I found today while gathering laundry to wash was this picture Dayton drew. He is so artistic. A ninja turtle he copied off the sticker. Pretty darn good I'd say. 

Our kids are so sweet. We are so blessed. Here we go, ready or not. I so hope that I can mother four.

Our beautiful baby girl was born September 27th at 12:26 am. 7 lb 13 oz and 19 inches long. She is perfect and we are smitten! More to come later. Right now we are eating her up!

Rachel's wellness check

Rachel has waited for a month for her turn at the doctor after her brothers went in August. She knew the whole time she would be getting her kindergarten shot but she still asked me about it almost every day. "Mom, when do I get to go to the doctor?" She is such a sweetie! Today was the day! She was happy and talked to the doctor a lot. She is healthy and smart. Everything looks good. She did squeel and tighten up when she got her shot but didn't cry a tear. She was so brave!

Her stats are 50% for height and 44% for weight. So just right! 

Up timing contractions...

It's been an hour that I have been timing these. Average is 33 seconds about 3 1/2 minutes apart. It's been like this all weekend. I think it speaks volumes when this is going on in the middle of the night while I'm laying in bed. My body is sore and tired. Gosh, I wish the nurse would have kept me last Thursday night. Now I am gonna call my OB's office and see if I can get in tomorrow, technically today, Monday. I want him to check me and I want to talk to him about this not go to labor and delivery just to get another dumb nurse and be sent home. It's almost 4am. I'll try to get back to sleep for a couple hours then call my doc. Wish me luck! 

Bedtime story

Last night the kids got to sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Day's while mom and dad went in to hospital. They got to stay up late, play marbles and listen to bedtime stories. They had a great time. 

Labor and delivery visit

After consistent contractions all day we went to labor an delivery tonight about 9pm. I was 3 cm which is more than I was yesterday. That is huge for me! I have never dilated past a 3plus on my own. We walked for 45 minutes and she checked me again and although I was having consistent contractions they sent me home. I knew it was coming, our nurse was kind of short and gave me different numbers (said I was 60% effaced) than Dr. Fowers gave me yesterday at my appointment. He said baby was in solid head down position and didn't move when he pushed on her head. The nurse said, she was floating and moved away. So I was not confident in her abilities to say the least. Anyway, probably best since Fowers wasn't on tonight and the nurse was not so great. Now it's almost 11pm and I am off to bed. After a good cry. Oh man contractions hurt and take it out of you. 

37 weeks and 2 days

Today Dr. Fowers stripped my membranes. I am a whopping 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I am so happy about that! Plus she is head down. So now, I am walking on my treadmill to get this girly here. I want her to come by next Monday. Yup! If this weekend goes by and I don't see her little face I will be disappointed. That said, Doctor said if he had to guess based on my exam then I'd deliver next week. I will be 38 weeks along next week. I would be okay with our sister coming then too. I just really really do NOT want to go to 39 weeks. Carter came at 38 weeks and was 7lb 2 oz, his birth was so great! Labor was wonderful and he came out in 3 pushes. It was night and day difference from the first two kids.  I want that to be the case this time too. So let's hope this walking works!!!!

Yesterday Dayton flew on a plane

Dayton had a sleepover with grandma sue this weekend. Breezy is dating a guy who flies and has a small plane. So Dayton got to fly home not drive, just because. How lucky! He has never been in a plane. He is spoiled.

Baby belly!

I am tired. My tummy hurts. I am waddling. I am beyond uncomfortable. I am anxious to meet this girly! I am happy to be a mommy again soon. My belly is stretched to the max. 

Kids went to the zoo while Mama had Relief Society

Today was the stake relief society conference and the six sisters came to talk to us and teach us some recipes. It was so fun! Here was our wards display on JOY!

Adam took the kids to the zoo and dropped Dayton off to grandma sue for a sleepover. The weather was great and Adam said the had a grand time. 

Thanks for a fun day grandma! We are sure blessed with such a fun grandma who is always up for doing something with us.
