A favorite tradition of the kids is sledding behind grandpas car on Christmas break. Such good memories made.

Carter is potty training, for real!
Christmas break started and I quickly started potty training with Carter again. He just wasn't ready this summer. It was also too hard for Mom pregnant to be scrubbing carpet on my hands and knees. He had no successes then. So we quit as I am a firm believer that you do it when the child is ready. We started around his birthday in November again and he was doing much better but then he fell and broke his elbow and it was casted. RATS! So again we stopped. Well his cast is off and I saw a window of opportunity with a 2 week break mostly hanging at home. So we hit it! This is day five and he has had 5 accidents total. He has gone poop in the potty every time. He is doing remarkably well! We are so proud of him! I am glad he is getting it this time! Sure love you Carter!

Merry Christmas
It snowed! A lot! Of good heavy packing snow.
Next clue led to the fridge!
It was super nice kitchen scissors that cut about anything. I am using them today for soup!
I was so surprised!
J Crew shirt which I love and a scarf!
The next clue led to the van, it was a Coach wallet.
Then we headed downstairs to the bathroom.
I could not believe Adam remembered I mentioned this to him. A heat free hair wrap to make curls.
Out to the preschool room next, darling J Crew socks! Seriously so cute and I love them!
He even hid one in the babies crib.
My own laptop! YEAH!
Everyone got the same items from Mom and Dad. Shoes, an outfit, books, a fun toy, a game we all can play and another toy.
Daddy got a handgun that was his big gift this year. We are thankful for Cabelas points we earned from all the medical bills that paid for half of it. A good thing that has come midst the crummy medical bills. Mom and Dad got gifts too!
More of the kids! This tool set was a hit for Carter.
The Easy Bake Oven was all my idea and Rachel said it was her favorite thing. She loves to help me in the kitchen.
The magnetic blocks were also fun, something the boys are still enjoying!
More toys! Baymax stuffy for Carter and scooters for D and Rachel. Carter got a scooter for his birthday. Now, they all have one.
Special earrings from Daddy to his baby girl!
What we all received this year!
Christmas morning at our house was a success! Dayton woke up about 3 times all night long he was so excited, and I am pretty sure he peeked past the sheet we hang up to hide stuff so Mom and Dad can see their reactions. Oh well, I guess it was bound to happen sometime. This year Adam did AMAZING at surprising me. I ask him every year to get just one thing that I don't know about for me because I do all the other shopping so none of it is a surprise to me. I like surprises. Well this year he blew it out of the water! He did a scavenger hunt for me, hid clues all over the house each one had a gift with it. At the end I got a new laptop! WOW! This will be great for me to work on with my selling online plus it is mobile which obviously has it's perks. Thank you Adam! You made me feel special and loved. The last note was a love letter and I cried, you'll notice in the pictures.
Mom opening first clue!
It was hidden behind the mirror.
Lavendar foot lotion with socks, he even said he would rub my feet. :)Next clue led to the fridge!

Merry Christmas! We are grateful for the Savior and all he has suffered and done for us. We are grateful for this season to remember Him. We got to go to church this year on Christmas Day and it was lovely. The choir sang, the hymns were beautiful and I felt the spirit. It was a perfect interruption on Christmas. Family Christmas party pics in another post.
