Bloomington Lake

Saturday evening we hiked to Bloomigton lake. It is about a 45 minute drive up there and 1/2 mile hike there and totally worth it! Just look at how beautiful it is! Everyone but me, Mom, and Dayton went on the rope swing. I literally took over 100 pictures of just them jumping in the lake so all I am going to post it one or two of each person. I will print all of them for my personal photo album (family, if you want prints just ask me). Even my Dad went off the rope swing. How cool is he? I just have to give them all credit because not only is the water freezing glacier water but the drop off the rope is pretty high too. It was great watching them all have so much fun!

After Bloomington we headed home. It was nice to sleep in our own beds and be home for church. We had a BLAST though! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Day at Bear Lake

We played at the lake for about 3 hours. Dayton LOVED the water, even though it was cold. My Dad took him out into the lake first and D was not hesitant for one second he just kept on walking deeper and deeper with a grin on his face. My Dad said he would have just kept going out if he wasn't there with him. I totally believe it too, this kid is a fish! Adam is proud of that! Dayton enjoyed playing in the sand, scooping sand, throwing sand, eating sand, and eating Twizzlers with sand on it.
We had so much fun together playing frisbee, chilling in the lake, floating in the raft, and of course building the traditional sand castle. This year it was the SLC Temple complete with the tabernacle and reflection pool. Yes, we are nerds! It was hard to make and because it was getting so hot and it started drying out and falling. Sadly, it wasn't near as awesome as we imagined but still totally photo worthy! It was just a perfect day with great weather and nice to be with family.

Bear Lake, hanging at camp

We spent the morning hanging out at camp and cooking omlet's for breakfast! We visited with each other and we were so happy when Cord and Lisa came around 9am. Yeah! I took lots of pictures around camp. Dayton enjoyed digging in the dirt, sitting around the fire like the big people, and riding his bike around camp.
















This picture was actually taken Friday when setting up our tent. I thought it was so cute and obedient of Dayton to lay in it. I was explaining to him that we were going to sleep in the tent, that he got to sleep with Mom and Dad, this is where we would take our night night etc. After explaining he waltzed into the tent and layed on the floor of the tent with nothing even down. Bless his heart! I chuckled, he was being so obedient. I guess I failed to mention that "night night" time wasn't right then and there.
