We decorated the tree together like we do every year. The kids love helping. Sometimes that is hard since they are still little but we make it through. Bring on Christmas!

Carters Elbow
Carter got his cast off and we found he has a large bone growth, spur, on his elbow now. They are referring us to a specialist at Primary Childrens to work with from here on out. So sad for him. He can't bend it now, which the doc here said is normal since it has been casted for 6 weeks and movement would come with time. That said, a concern with the large lump on the elbow is that it would prevent him from full mobility and maybe bother his nerves and such as he grows. I am NOT happy! They needed to cast this for 4 weeks and check it then. I think it went too long in the cast. For now we wait and see what Primary Childrens says in a couple weeks.
He was such a good brave boy getting his cast cut off. He also got lots of suckers! What a champ!
Rachel's 5th birthday!
Rachel had a Frozen birthday party this year! She loved it! We got to go shopping to pick out the things for her party. She even got a pinata. It was a blast! She was so excited, she kept telling everyone proudly that she is 5 years old. Here are a bunch of pictures!

She got to open the gift from Mom and Dad in the morning before her friends came. An American Girl doll (knock off) and an extra outfit made by Val. Her face say it all, she loves her doll and named her Susie.

Our kids doing the pinata! Adam pulled the string! They all loved it!
Mom with my good friend Val Lish, Baily's Mom. She made the darling purple doll dress above. It is perfect and so well made! Val is very talented! Thanks Val!
Baily, Dayton and Vivie. We have been friends forever!
Happy Birthday Rachel!
She also got to go out with Grandma and Grandpa Day to the Fun Park bowling and dinner just her. Spoiled! Plus Mom took her to the Nutcracker at the theater which she loved. She did ask to leave a bit early and I said, okay. It is long for kids!

Thanksgiving 2016
Today we had two thanksgiving meals, one for lunch at Grandma Days and one for dinner at our place with Grandma Sue. Both enjoyable and yummy. Sadly Adam was sick and couldn't make it to lunch but luckily was feeling okay enough to be up for dinner with his family. For that, I am grateful.

Basketball ends
This is Daytons team from fall basketball. He loved playing and would do it all day if he could. He scored 3 baskets today and really played hard. He is athletic which is a surprise to me because I am not, at least not in the way D is. I guess we will be signing him up for winter basketball too.
Vivie is 2 months
In 3 days Vivie is 2 months. She is alert. She smiles at mommy now. She has been staying up super late like midnight and sleeping til 6 am. Wow! She takes three naps a day. Usually 9:30-11:30 am then again about 1:30-3:30 ish and ahe has a power nap sometime in the evening for about one hour before I make her wake up. She is wearing 3-6 months clothes and size 1 diapers. She takes a bottle great but prefers mommy to nurse her. She doesn't like binkies it take a lot for her to take a binki. Her lashes are filling in and getting long so is her hair on the top. She is a content little girl! We love her!
