ROCK BAND!!!
So as a reward to ourselves for summer school and both of us having scholarships we decided to celebrate! We got rockband! Yeah! Adam has wanted it for a while and it was going to be a Christmas present but we couldn't wait so now we spend our days and nights when we are not at school, working, or fulfilling our callings rocking out!
And for Amy my email is angchandler@gmail.com and I will work on getting Nate one!

Minnetonka Cave and Bear Lake!
Adam and I finally got away for a weekend vacation before school started. It was so nice. We stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in Bear Lake called the Bluebird Inn, went to Minnetonka Cave, and hung out at the lake. So here are some cute pictures.Adam and I built a sandcastle out in the middle of the lake, ok well not the middle but out in it. I have to admit is was pretty cool! Check out the pictures.
This bear and racoon were carved into the tree outside our bed and breakfast. Way Cool! And there was a pond with a fountain in the middle, a treehouse, a hot tub, and tons of beautiful landscaping. I highly suggest it!
SAD NEWS!!! For all of you who have not heard I am allergic to my wedding ring. Seriously I am not kidding it is true for about 2 months it has been bothering me with dry itchy skin and my finger swelling and just about a week ago I woke up in the middle of the night because it hurt so bad. I took my ring off and under it were lovely hives in the exact design of my ring. Wonderful huh? Anyway so we have to get it melted down and set in another metal because I am allergic to the white gold. So for all you girls out there be happy you don't have to melt down your wedding ring.

My brother is Home!
So my brother Jake got home from basic training, IT training, and jump school this week! Yeah! We were all so thrilled to see him and when he came off the plane and saw us all he cried. Happy tears of course. Jake went out weighing 170 lbs at 6 foot 1 inch and came out weighing 200 lbs. Adam has been going running with him in the mornings and he says Jake is kicking his butt. But just because I love my husband I have to say I think Jake would kick anyones butt! Anyway we love him and we are so glad he is home!

YELLOWSTONE!!
Where to start? First of all there were NO INJURIES! Although Adam did show his ID so the boys could buy illegal fireworks so there might be some hospital visits when they get home.
SO the past four days Adam and I spent with 8 scouts in yellowstone. What an adventure! We stopped in Jackson at Bubba's for dinner. YUM! The boys loved it and so did we!
After a long drive with four deacons I was ready to get out of the vehicle and breathe! So I took pictures of the burned trees while the boys had a bathroom break, it was nice to visit yellowstone once again. I haven't been there for about 4 years.
We saw many buffalo. One of the boys, Roberto, wanted to see a buffalo so bad. I think that was the only thing that he actually cared about seeing in all of yellowstone. Anyway he was in heaven when we saw this big guy walking right down the middle of the road.

I think at the end of the trip I had about 6 videos of buffalo. I know it sounds lame but they were exciting! So here is one of the many!
This is the entire group above the falls that you can't really see in the picture. Going left to right on the top row is Makenna with Adam, Jake, Parker, Kyle, Nate, Mike, Steve Stokes and Christa. Left to Right front row is me, Tristin, Roberto, Tanner. So for all of you who have the opportunity of hearing a few of these young mens names in conversation with Adam now you can put a face to the name.
This is me and Adam with the Stokes's at Artist Point! It was pretty!
This is Makenna loving Adam! She loves him so much it is the cutest thing ever!
MaKenna was the mascot of the trip! All the boys loved her and she loved being outdoors with all of us. But she was sleep deprived the entire trip because she wanted to be up with all of us! This is Tristin holding her while the adults got the camp site.
This is my new best friend. Not a day goes by that I do not go over to Christa's to chat and play with Makenna. I sure love her and she is such a light in my life. I would be real bored without her. And hats off to Christa going to yellowstone 3 months pregnant. You go girl!
This is Adam and I at the boiling mud pot. It was cool! It looked like fun to jump in but you know what they say, that isn't a good idea!
This is one of my favorite pictures of some of the boys! They are dorks! L to R: Jake, Nate, Praker and Kyle.
The trip was awesome and it was nice to get away. My favorite part was swimming at firehole. The boys loved jumping into the white water and riding the current down into the swimming pool area. Adam especially loved it even though he had to pull a couple scouts heads out of the water when the current pushed them under. I stayed with Christa and Makenna in the water that we could see to the bottom of. But I did swim in the really deep part with Adam so I feel proud that I braved my fear! Anyway, sorry no pictures!

This is Lewis lake and the boys went out on this early in the morning even though it was a bit rough and rocky. The boys also spent some time canoeing and fishing! Adam was so thrilled about fishing he came running back to camp with a huge grin on his face yelling, "I had a fishing experience with a fish this big!" He was holding his arms out as wide as they would go. I thought, what kind of experience? Anyway you will have to ask him next time you see him!
Wonderful Hot Pots! It was cool to see all this again!

We spent lots of time at night telling riddles and playing games. It was fun to interact with the boys. Oh and just for the record, to my Day family, I was the first one to get the riddles! I know your all amazed but it's true!

Rodeo and Mother Son Day!
Preston Rodeo last weekend was a blast! I loved the barrel racing and muttin bustin! One little kid hung on to that sheep while it ran all the way across the arena. It was so cute and the crowd went wild! I wish I would have recorded it.
This is a not so fabulous picture of Adam and me after the rodeo but hey it's proof we were there.
Mama Sue came up this last weekend and while I wrote a research paper had a mother and son day with Adam. Adam loved spending time with his mom and he came home with lots of good looking clothes too. Yeah we love you Mama Sue! Thank you!
