A girl and her purse
Rach and I spent the afternoon shopping in park city while Adam and Sue went skiing. It was a blast! She picked this pink sparkly purse for $3 and $2 sunglasses, a few items at Gymboree on clearance and then happily helped mom shop a bit but mostly window shop. We even went to lunch at zupas! She is so fun one on one! She is a talker, she held my hand, was excited about stores and clothes (way more fun than Adam) and she was really understanding about things when I told her no. She was pure sugar today! I love her!

Bonks!
This kid got a huge goose egg last week. Then today he fell and smacked the exact same spot again. His forehead swole up immediately and this poor boy screamed! Oh to be 2 years old. Darn bonks! I felt so bad for him! He wouldn't let me ice it and wouldn't take Tylenol so binki it was and bed with a show. Poor baby!

These boys and sunshine!
My good friend Teena Young took this picture of the boys at her house today on a play date. Isn't it adorable?
Since the sun has been shining the boys go out every afternoon. Even if it's just for 20 minutes or so. Today Dayton walked Carter down the muddy path to the chickens and they fed them bread, gathered the eggs and the Dayton nicely lead Carter all the way around across the hallow so he didn't slip up the muddy hill, which was very squishy. Carter followed his every step. He sure looks up to Dayton.
Another favorite lately is bubbles! The kids all love them and Carter asks for them often. Oh the warmer weather makes us happy. We can't wait for spring!

Dayton Ski's with Grandma
Tonight Adam and Dayton and Sue went to cherry peak resort in Richmond for night ski. They had a blast! Dayton did his first blue square run and is getting faster and better every time. He likes skiing and Dad loves taking him. It's cool they have something to do together. We are so proud of Dayton and how quick he has picked up skiing and his athletic abilities. Go buddy!

Sneaker
This little guy is such a sneaker. He really likes sleeping with Mom and Dad lately. He will sneak in at night dragging his blanket and pillow to our floor to be by us. Sometimes he will sneak in our bend too. Adam stayed up late last night while I went to bed early. When Adam came to bed about 11pm he found this sight.

We made a trip to the Dollar Store!
It's winter, cold, foggy and no fun! So, after we stopped at the bank we went on a trip to the dollar store. D and Rach spent their own money (they love doing this) and of course I bought Carters item. They had so much fun shopping for what they wanted.
Dayton got a foam sword, play army kit with grenade, knife, and army watch. He also spent a quarter in the machine up front for a little toy in the plastic containers. I remember loving those as a kid, even though they are a rip off. Ha!
Rachel picked glitter glue. She was thrilled when she saw this and couldn't believe all the colors. She spent an hour using them later that day. She also got cotton candy in a bag. She was happy!
Carter wanted exactly what Dayton got. So it was! I have noticed that Carter always copies Dayton. Rachel too but more often Dayton. Oh these older siblings set an example for him for sure. When we got home the boys wrestled and played sword fighting and they giggled and cried and screamed. They needed that boy aggression time down stairs where they can't hurt anything. I love they have each other.
It was a happy morning trip for a February day! I'm glad I mustered up the energy to haul them into town. It was great!

It's always fun when Grandpa comes!
Davee came up a week or so ago and the kids loved it. They don't see him a lot so it's awesome when they do. Sure love this guy! Adam looks so much like him. It is freaky! Also, I didn't get one pic of D with him, oops.

Heads and Ice don't mix!
Dayton fell on the ice at school today. It was so sad! He split open his head and he was so so brave! We took him to ER since Dr. Firth is out of the office and he was a stud! He didn't even cry, for real! I was so amazed! All the nurses complimented his pretty eyes and afterward he and I went on a date. Turned out it was good that Molly, the Monday nanny, was here. I didn't get work done but I sure did have a good afternoon chatting with D. He is so creative and funny! I love him!
