I was slow getting Carter to the doctor for his first set of shots. Instead of 2 months he was almost 4 months old. Eh, oh well. I guess that is what happens with baby 3.
Here are his stats.
Height: 25.5 inches in the 81%
Weight: 17.75 pounds in the 96%
Head Circumference: 16.7 inches in the 66%
Dr. Firth said he is VERY strong! He can almost sit up which is rockin! He is very calm and content and easy going. Dr. Firth commented on how pretty blue his eyes are with long eyelashes. He does have handsome eyes! Of course I think all my kiddos do. They get curly eyelashes from me and super long eyelashes from Adam. Lucky them!
He did get his vaccinations and he screamed! Mostly because after the first poke he was sad but after a second he was really upset and the third poke was just too much! That is what you get when you only have one nurse doing them. Poor baby!
We sure love our son, he is such a joy in our lives!

A BOX
I remember finding lot of joy in simple things when I was little like a hut, a large cardboard box, or sleeping bags on the stairs. My kids spent the afternoon in a box! Seriously it kept them entertained for 2 hours. First it was a place to eat their snacks. Then is turned into a hide out from the lions. Then it was their bed when they played babies. It was SO fun to see their imagination run wild! They are at a fun age.

I'm gonna miss this...
Someday when my fridge is bare and all the cute art projects have been thrown out or boxed up, I'm gonna miss it!
Family Night Lesson
Dayton's letter of the week with a "scary monster" on it.
Rachel's rain page from today at my class. We are doing the letter R this week.

This is how we roll!
Grocery shopping means two carts! One for the kids and one for the food. I rarely go on my own with all 3 children. Too hard!

One on One
Dayton thrives with one on one attention. We all do, I guess. Yesterday while Carter and Rachel napped I pulled out the Unifix cubes and we made patterns and letters. It was amazing to see how smart he is and how quickly he picks up on things, like making patterns. We also took D to a play at Ellen Eccles last night which he loved. It was Juanito Bandito put on by pickleville playhouse. I got free tickets from a preschool student. I teach the lead guy's son (Juanito bandito or T.J. Davis) in preschool. So that was sweet! Thanks Davis family! D keeps talking about the show on the stage and how he wishes he could be in a play on a stage too. After the show we went for a treat!
