This year has been a total adventure. We went from living in a big nice house, to a trailer, to an old fixer upper. Angie took a year off teaching preschool (fall and winter so far) and started something new called Mendon Music once a week, for toddlers, at Mendon station for just an hour. I like it and so do the kids! D and Rach both finished a year of preschool, played HARD all summer, and started preschool again with a new teacher! Carter learned to crawl, walk and say a few words. Adam enjoys his dream yard with a creek, lots of gardening to do and lots of yard to play fetch with the dog. It has been challenging but we have grown in the best ways!

3 wrecks in 3 weeks
It seems lately that we just can't catch a break!
1. Two weeks before Christmas Angie backed into the very bottom of garage door. I thought it was all the way up but apparently not. The accident popped the garage door off the track and Adam got it back on but the door is dented and scratched the top/roof of van.
2. Angie teaches primary. We had a church primary class party at a neighbors house. When leaving I was looking back and backing up very slowly but I absolutely could not see the mailbox in the pitch black Mendon night. Cracked our back bumper and messed up her mailbox.
3. We visited my parents tonight while Lisa and McCord were up. When leaving Adam backed up the van into my dads SUV. The bumper of their car has a small crack. We will have to file another claim. Adam is absolutely furious over this!
Why can't we catch a break? We pay our tithing we try to do what is right, month after month we are barely paying bills. We should be paying bills with ease and saving a good chunk monthly. It's upsetting, really. It's one thing, after another, after another!

Christmas with the Chandler's
We celebrated Christmas the 27th this year at Josh and Janae's house. We had a good time together! Just look at this cute group!
Opening presents!
NURFF Guns from Grandma Sue!
Aunt Breezy loves Carter and helped him open his present! It is a cute Fisher Price house that makes noise and lights up and such. The roof lifts up too so you can put things in and out. Perfect for a one year old!
Ainslie

Evelyn with Janae and baby boy in tummy!
More nurff gun fights!
Opening our "As Seen on TV" gifts from Sue! Plus a card with $100 in it! Thank you Sue! It's always fun!
Grandma with each of our kids! Dayton and Rach each made her a Christmas card!
Our gift to J&J was this family game! We played it while we were there for a bit and it is fun!
Dayton giving Breezy her card he made!
Two more group shots that turned out okay! Yeah!
Our gift to Dad and Raven that Breezy took to him because he had to work and couldn't come! Along with the cards the kids made too!
It was a Merry Christmas Party! I love that I have such an awesome Mother-in-law and we all get along so well. Plus, cousin time is the BEST!

Christmas with the Days!
Each year Mom and Dad give each family a stocking to open and each Grandkid. It's fun, the kids like it and it means Orange Sticks for me! Yum!
Uncle Jared and Sara were awesome and gave each of their nieces and nephews gifts. It was very tthoughtfuland I am pretty sure Jared does this EVERY year. Her is Jared with each of the kids and their gifts.
Rachel and Talia got fairy wings and a wand.
D got a snake that grows and a Spider man puzzle from Uncle J. He was ecstatic about that! He kept saying, "Sara come look at it now!" Then he would run to the sink where it was soaking! Fun!
Then it was gifts for us, Adam cried when he opened a framed picture of him with Taya from Mom and Dad. He misses her.
Jared and Sara
Lisa and McCord
Adam and I with our new camping table! YES!
And he has a shovel that isn't broken now!
Joe with a mixer and a cookie sheet for his apartment. McCord told him he had to turn in his man card for this gift. Ha ha! I think it makes him more manly that he will use them and cook/bake. Joe is cool!
Adam had Lisa's name this year. He gave her a new shower curtain and towels.
Joe had my name and gave me a glue gun, I don't have one and need it for preschool so it's perfect!
I had Jared's name and gave them a movie night along with mugs and hot chocolate too!
Jared or Sara had Adam and gave us free movie tickets and free babysitting. BEST GIFT EVER!
We gave Mom a purse, her's is broken.
We gave Dad Charlie Brown Christmas book and a box of lifesavers.
Then the best part of Christmas was Skyping Elder Nate in Texas. He is hilarious and just the same. I love him and miss him. He comes home February 4th. I can't wait!
We wanted to stay and play games but the kids wouldn't go to sleep at Grandma's so we ended up home that night. We still enjoyed our visit and had lots of fun!
